Admissions: General

For Year 7 Entry, the school will admit seven forms of thirty students.

All candidates must pass an Entrance Test in order to be eligible to be considered for a place at our school and this Entrance Test comprises a Verbal Reasoning test and a Mathematics test.

Each year the school is heavily oversubscribed, so we must then apply our oversubscription criteria as detailed in our Admissions Policy. Unfortunately, therefore, it is not possible to offer a place to everyone who passes the test..

Further information about admissions and the Entrance Test is available from the school, via this website, and at our Transfer to High School Open Evening.

Each year, there are a limited number of places available in our Sixth Form and applications are welcome from students of other schools. Application forms are available on this website and offers of places are conditional on achieving the required grades at GCSE. New students quickly become part of the school and integrate fully into our school community.
