Admissions: Year 7 Entrance Test

The Year 7 Entrance Test consists of two parts, Verbal Reasoning and Mathematics.

The Verbal Reasoning is a multiple choice paper (50 minutes) produced, and marked externally, by NFER Nelson. Samples of the NFER papers are available to purchase at good stationers or at our Transfer to High School Open Evening.
  
The Mathematics Paper (40 minutes) is produced and marked internally, Wallington High School for Girls. It consists of problem questions similar to those seen by the children in their mathematics lessons in primary school. Children who are sitting this test are expected to have a basic knowledge of mathematics from the National Numeracy Strategy up to Year 5 and including some of Year 6.
