Wallington High School for Girls is successfully running the Jack Petchey Achievement Award Scheme. Each month there is a different nomination category for students to nominate their peers for the award. Examples of categories include contributions to volunteer work and contributions to others within school. The school’s Executive Council meet each month to review the nominations received and select the winner.
The winner receives a certificate, badge and £200 to spend on something for the school. Since being on the scheme our winners have purchased new netball bibs, salad bowls for the new salad bar, laser printers, science equipment and canvases for the Art Department.
