Year 8 Engineering Maths Challenge

Fun mathematical puzzles and a chance to create a maths app for a smart phone.

Year 8 Forensic Science Day

Students watch the 'Beyond Reasonable Doubt' dvd and then undertake a series of experiments in the science laboratories to determine the identity of the murderer. These include fingerprints, soil analysis, blood matching, footprints and pollen tests.

Year 7 Engineering Day

Students will experience four different activities: Food, Dance, Resistant Materials and Textiles / Art. We will be listening to Mrs Maye, a local lavender producer who will talk about how lavender is used for medicinal purposes and what makes it a renewable resource.
