World Challenge

Wallington High School for Girls give students the opportunity to take part in the World Challenge programme.

It's a big world out there,
start exploring...

This is the motto of World Challenge UK; using overseas travel to empower and provide life altering forms of learning. They provide students with the opportunity to write their own stories, make their own mistakes, live their own adventures, learn and grow with peers, see the world with open eyes that are focused towards those around them.

Each year Wallington students take an active role in supporting World Challenge projects which have involved teams travelling to many destinations around the world, including:  Vietnam, Morocco, Croatia, Siberia, Tanzania, Venezuela, Kyrgystan and Montenegro. The trips involve a wonderful mix of adventure, combined with community work projects, supporting local initiatives.

The next trip planned involves both Year 11 and Year 12 students who will be visiting Uzbekistan in July ’21, depending on Coronavirus restrictions at the time.

Should Coronavirus restrictions mean this trip is not possible, Wallington High School will be in contact with everyone involved immediately to discuss the next steps and options.
